While work carries on inside the new building, the 36 metre high tower crane as used for an industry health and safety demonstration. A trial run of two methods of rescue from a crane successfully took place in Devonshire Park. One rescue simulated the recovery of the crane driver from his cab and the other came to the aid of someone suspended from the crane's jib.
